RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: 1/10/2026
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from ClaytonNV (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. All returns and refunds are subject to verification and approval by ClaytonNV.
All transactions are governed by applicable ITAR and/or EAR regulations. No return or refund will be processed if it would result in a violation of U.S. export control laws.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY & TIMEFRAMES
1.1 General Refund Window
Customers may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase date, subject to the conditions below.

Orders not yet shipped, including in-stock and pre-order items, are subject to a 5% restocking fee if canceled.

Orders that have shipped and are returned within seven (7) days of receipt are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

After seven (7) days from receipt, refunds are not available, except as expressly stated in this Policy.
Shipping fees, taxes, payment processing fees, and compliance-related costs are non-refundable.
2. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
All approved returns must:

Be unused, unmodified, and in original condition;

Include all original packaging, accessories, documentation, and serial-numbered components;
-
Show no evidence of installation, field use, tampering, disassembly, or alteration.
ClaytonNV reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements.
3. EXPORT CONTROL & TRANSFER RESTRICTIONS
Due to the nature of ITAR- and EAR-controlled products:

Returned items must be shipped only from within the United States;
-
Products may not be transferred, resold, loaned, exported, or handled by any non-U.S. person during the return process;

Any return that violates export control laws will be denied.
ClaytonNV may require additional documentation to verify compliance.
4. REFURBISHED PRODUCTS – FINAL SALE
All refurbished products are FINAL SALE.
Returns of refurbished items are accepted only if the item received is materially and substantially not as described on the ClaytonNV website at the time of purchase.
Claims must be submitted within seven (7) days of receipt. ClaytonNV will review the claim and determine eligibility at its sole discretion.
Normal cosmetic wear, disclosed blemishes, performance variance, or condition consistent with the product’s stated refurbishment grade do not qualify for return.
5. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA) POLICY
5.1 Pre-Shipment Testing
ClaytonNV conducts thorough inspection and functional testing on all products prior to shipment. For complete systems, this may include collimation verification, artifact inspection, and full operational testing.
5.2 DOA Notification Requirement
If a product arrives Dead on Arrival (DOA), you must notify ClaytonNV within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery.
Failure to report within this timeframe voids DOA eligibility.
5.3 DOA Return Conditions
To qualify for a DOA claim:

The product must remain in the exact condition in which it was received;

No disassembly, modification, adjustment, or attempted repair may occur;
-
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be issued by ClaytonNV prior to return.
Each DOA claim is reviewed individually. Claims may be denied if misuse, tampering, or fraudulent activity is suspected.
5.4 DOA Resolution
If ClaytonNV verifies the item was DOA:

A replacement will be shipped using the original shipping method, subject to availability;

Return shipping costs will be reimbursed up to the documented amount, provided proof of shipping is submitted.
Refunds are not guaranteed and may be issued only at ClaytonNV’s discretion if replacement is not feasible.
6. RETURN AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED
No returns of any kind will be accepted without a ClaytonNV-issued RMA.
Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.
7. POLICY ENFORCEMENT
ClaytonNV reserves the right to:

Deny any return or refund that does not comply with this Policy;
-
Reject returns that present export-control, security, or compliance risks;

Update or modify this Policy at any time in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
